A message from Alex:

Hi there and thanks for checking out my website! I am a 17 year old British / Aussie actor, singer, film maker, composer and designer (anything creative really) and have been working professionally as an actor for the last 6 years or so. I have been fortunate enough to be involved in some pretty amazing productions including playing 'Michael Banks' in the Sydney season of 'Mary Poppins' at the Capitol Theatre, 'Under Milk Wood' with the Sydney Theatre Company, 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' with the Belvoir Street Theatre Company, 'Intersection' with ATYP, 3 seasons with Opera Australia and 3 seasons of pantomime at the King Street Theatre, Newtown, along with a number of film and television appearances. I am also a classically trained baritone singer (AMusA Dist.) and give regular vocal recitals around Sydney where I am currently based, although I am hoping to work overseas in the future. Hope you enjoy my website!

3rd June - long time no see!

I've just realised how long it is since I last posted so sorry about that but I've just been really busy. Mostly with school work, but I also recently took my AMEB grade 6 drama and performance exam and got an A+, which was great! Yesterday I also won first place in the Sydney Eisteddfod Shakespeare Event for 14-16 years, with an amazing 100/100 score, which was fantastic but a real surprise too as there were lots of other really talented competitors. Here is a picture of me with my medal.

20th Feb

Back at school now for year 9 but it's not all about homework - I have some film work in the pipeline that I'm really looking forward to, although I can't say too much at the moment. I also took part in a really cool Opera Boot Camp in the holidays, which was great fun. In the mean time here is one of my new headshots. Bye for now!

23rd Dec - Last day of Mother Goose

Today was the last day of Mother Goose at the King Street Theatre in Newtown. Sad to be finishing but we had a great final show and I hope I get to work with the cast and crew again - I LOVE PANTO!!! Only 2 days until CHRISTMAS!!!!!

9th Dec - Sydney Eisteddfod Interview

Mother Goose has now opened at the Kings Street Theatre, Newtown so get along and have a laugh - it's great for kids of all ages, but especially preschoolers and K-2 children as it's full of nursery rhymes!

Also here is a recent interview I did for the Sydney Eisteddfod

3rd Dec - Dux of year 8!

So proud and amazed to be awarded Dux of Year 8 / Stage 4 at my school speech night yesterday! I came top in 7 out of 10 subjects and was also the winner of the school art and design scholarship. Last weekend I also took my AMEB grade 5 drama and performance exam and received an A+ high distinction which was fantastic, but now I'm really glad it's nearly Christmas and there are no more exams to take this year - it's been such hard work but definitely worth it!

I'm currently still in rehearsals for "Mother Goose" which opens next week - it's going to be a great show so please come along for great entertainment and lots of laughs!

20th Nov - a new mix

Here's my latest dance mix of Kimbra's "Settle Down" put together on my launchpad at home. Hope you like it!

Last week I was honoured to be chosen as the guest performer at the Sydney Eisteddfod Alf and Pearl Pollard Instrumental Final. It was a fantastic evening and all the finalists were amazing! Below is a picture of me singing as the Pirate King from the Pirates of Penzance.
